Within the project, 30 young musicians and visual artists will benefit from:
- shadowing mobility program in Norway
- creative camp
- 3 workshops for skills development (optional)
- individual consultancy for the realization of a business plan in the creative and cultural field (optional)
- financial support
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- aged between 14 and 24
- students at high schools or universities of visual arts and music in Romania
- come from families with an income of less than 2200 LEI / family member, and can prove that they do not have the financial means to perfect their talent
- be available for travel to Norway
How to apply
E-mail the application file by October 27, 2021. It must include:
- The registration form can be downloaded from here.
The form will be accompanied by supporting documents for the material situation presented (salary slip or income certificate, copy of pension slip, copy of unemployment benefit, as the case may be). For family members who have no income but are over 18 years of age and are not enrolled in a form of education, a self-declaration will be attached stating that they do not earn an income. These supporting documents are attached for parents, grandparents and siblings living in the same household.
- Curriculum vitae that will contain contact details (e-mail and telephone), the competitions in which the candidate participated, diplomas and prizes obtained, etc. (maximum 2 pages)
- A letter of recommendation from a specialist teacher in which reference will be made to the candidate’s artistic and human qualities (for example: perseverance, dedication, punctuality, respect for others, etc.)
- Student certificate or copy of the student card
- Copy of ID card/ ID card or birth certificate
Stages of the selection process:
- Submission of the application file – until October 27, 2021.Preselecția: analiza dosarelor, realizată de echipa proiectului – până la data de 15 noiembrie 2021.
- The selection of candidates for music will be made on the basis of an audio-video recording with a maximum duration of 10 minutes containing a piece of music of your choice solo or with piano accompaniment. The video for the selection will be published on Youtube and the link will be sent to: tineretalente@principesa.ro. The name, surname, educational unit will be specified in the e-mail. Concert recordings, recordings longer than 10 minutes, are not accepted.
- The selection for the Visual Arts field will be made based on an artistic portfolio with works, animations, photographs, etc. sent in electronic format. Please urge to send your portfolio with photos in PDF format, otherwise it will not be taken into account. The name of the PDF must include: FIRST NAME + FIRST NAME + PORTFOLIO VISUAL ARTS. The portfolio will be sent by wire transfer or another file transfer service, and the link will be communicated in the email sent to: tineretalente@principesa.ro. The name, surname, educational unit will be specified in the e-mail. It is recommended a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 images with works made in the last 2 years, and the portfolio to be accompanied by a half-page letter of intent containing a description of your artistic approach and creative process.
- The interview will be conducted online by the jury with those candidates who have passed the selection stage (evaluation of the portfolio and audio-video recordings).
