
Delia (21 years old), born in Piatra Neamț, started her career as a visual artist back in high school, under the guidance of Prof. Camelia Tatiana Tanasă. Currently, Delia is a first year master student at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Department of Environmental Textile Arts, coordinated by Mrs. Assoc. Dr. Dorina Horătău.
Her artistic approach is strongly influenced by the change of perception on the classical tapestry, which has its origins since the first half of the XX century. Her vision of textile art includes the transformation of textile fiber into aesthetic works characterized by monumentality, technical effect, strong chromatic contrast and uniqueness.
Among the most important achievements of her are: participation in the Biennial of Decorative Arts, 4th edition, November 2019, and the exhibition of her bachelor’s thesis at the “Heritage – contemporary artistic interpretations in the textile environment” exhibition in Piatra Neamț on July 20, 2021, and the “National Salon of Contemporary Art” in Bucharest in November 2021.
Her passions revolve around the creative field, she is also interested in painting, sculpture, photography and music.
